Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Power BI Architect with strong expertise in Databricks and enterprise-scale BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have 10–15 years of relevant experience in designing and implementing data visualization architectures, integrating with modern data platforms like Azure and Databricks, and leading enterprise BI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, architect, and implement end-to-end Power BI solutions integrated with Databricks and other Azure data services.

• Develop and maintain enterprise BI architecture, including semantic models, dashboards, reports, and data pipelines.

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

• Define best practices and governance frameworks for BI development, including version control, testing, and deployment standards.

• Optimize Power BI performance for large-scale datasets using DAX and query optimization techniques.

• Guide and mentor development teams on Power BI and data visualization best practices.

• Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in the Power BI, Azure, and Databricks ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10–15 years of experience in BI and Data Analytics, with strong expertise in Power BI architecture and design.

• In-depth experience with Databricks (Azure or AWS) for data preparation, processing, and analytics.

• Strong command of DAX, Power Query (M), and building optimized semantic models.

• Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL, ADF).

• Proven experience in integrating Power BI with large-scale data platforms and handling big data workloads.

• Excellent understanding of data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), data warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have

• Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Azure, or Databricks.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for Power BI deployments.
