Job summary

BHS Corrugated India Pvt. Ltd. in Pune seeks an experienced BI Analyst to design and manage Power BI dashboards and data analytics solutions. You will build data transformations with Power Query, SQL, Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric, identify trends, and automate reporting for scalable decision support.

Strong hands-on with Power BI Desktop/Service, DAX, data modelling, and RLS is required, along with experience in enterprise data platforms and cross-functional teamwork across regions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Power BI, BI or Data Analytics.
• Hands-on expertise in Power BI Desktop & Service, DAX, Power Query, data modelling and RLS.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms and multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Develop data transformations and integration solutions using Power Query, SQL, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop analytical solutions to identify business trends, performance gaps, and opportunities.
• Transform manual and repetitive reporting processes into automated, dynamic, and scalable solutions.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to ensure reporting accuracy and data quality.
• Optimize reports and data models for performance, scalability, and secure data access.
• Implement RLS and appropriate security controls for reporting solutions.
• Manage Power BI Service activities, including workspaces, refreshes, deployments, and report support.
• Explore Copilot, MCP, and AI capabilities to improve BI development, analytics, and automation.
• Support troubleshooting, report enhancements, deployment, and continuous improvement of BI solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Power BI, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics.
• Relevant Power BI, Microsoft, or Data Analytics certifications are an advantage.
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms, multiple data sources, and business reporting environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality BI solutions within defined timelines.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Power BI Desktop & Service, DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and RLS.
• Strong SQL skills with practical experience in Snowflake, Data Warehousing, and ETL/ELT.
• Hands‑on experience in data visualization, KPI reporting, data quality, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting automation.
• Understanding of Finance, Operations processes and business KPIs.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, MCP (Model Context Protocol), and AI‑driven analytics is highly desirable.
• Experience working with global, cross‑functional teams across different regions and time zones.
