Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead BI/dashboard development using Power BI Desktop and Service.
• Design data models, optimize queries, and tune performance.
• Integrate data from Oracle/SQL Server, SharePoint, and cloud sources.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica/SSIS/Talend/ADF.
• Leverage Power Automate workflows for data automation.
• Utilize Excel with Power Pivot and advanced formulas for analysis.

Role & responsibilities

• 710 years of total IT experience in analytics, BI, or data engineering.


• 5+ years hands-on experience with Power BI (Desktop + Service).


• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modelling.


• Strong SQL expertise on Oracle and SQL Server.


• Experience in query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.


• Good understanding of SharePoint architecture, lists, permissions, and integration patterns.


• Knowledge of JSON, API payloads, connectors, and data manipulation.


• Experience with Power Automate workflows and integrations.


• Strong skills in Excel (Power Pivot, advanced formulas, pivot tables).


• Proficiency in Python or at least one programming language: .NET, C#, VBA, etc.


• Strong working experience in at least one ETL tool (Informatica, SSIS, Talend, ADF, etc.).

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).


• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Star/Snowflake schema).
