Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Power BI Specialist to design and develop applications using Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint in a data-driven environment. You will work with Dataverse/SQL backends and guide the data storage strategy for enterprise platforms.

You will liaise with business teams, translate requirements into functional flows, and lead design reviews to ensure timely delivery. Candidates should have 5+ projects in Power Apps/Automate and strong SQL knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data Analytics, CS, IS, Eng, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Executed at least 5 projects using Power Apps and Power Automate in lead role.
• Expertise in Canvas apps and model-driven apps; strong SQL Server knowledge.
• Exposure to Enterprise data platform, data lake and Databricks concepts; interfacing SAP/Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex applications with Power Apps and Power Automate using SharePoint/Dataverse or SQL as backend.
• Propose and guide team to establish App’s data storage and retrieval in Enterprise data platform.
• Connect with business to gather requirements and set development priorities.
• Conduct periodic design review meetings to ensure progress on the timeline.
• Support business users during user acceptance testing and ensure input is received on time.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

• SharePoint / Dataverse or SQL as backend.
• Propose and guide team to establish App’s data storage and retrieval in Enterprise

data platform (using data lake, data bricks)

• Connect with business to gather requirement and set priorities for development.
• Connect with subject matter experts to understand the business processes.
• Organize the change requests in a structured manner with excellent traceability.
• Convert the business requirements into process flow chart.
• Shall work independently in developing Power App Applications.
• To conduct periodic design review meetings to ensure the development is

progressing as per agreed timeline.

• Follow up with business to ensure required input is received on time.
• Support business users during user acceptance test and ensure

Your Background

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or related discipline.
• Should have executed at least 5 projects using Power Apps and

• Should have good technical and working knowledge in SQL server.
• Should have expertise in Canvas apps and model driven apps
• Expertise in creating complex Power automate flows.
• To have exposure to Enterprise data platform, data lake ,Databricks concepts.
• To have expertise in interfacing software platforms such as SAP, Salesforce etc.
• To have knowledge in Artificial intelligence / Machine learning concepts and implementation methods.
