Job summary

The Post-Trade Services & Risk Associate at CME Group in Bangalore (Bagmane) monitors, analyzes and mitigates risk within the clearing house and financial system. The role supports regulatory reporting, margin analysis, and cross-functional risk monitoring across APAC hours.

You will work with Clearing House Risk, Trade Operations and Technology teams to maintain efficient processes and respond to queries with strong analytical insight.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, finance or equivalent field.
• 4-7 years of experience in operation, preferably in clearing or settlement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of derivatives markets and financial instruments preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily clearing and settlement processes to ensure timely end-of-day closure.
• Regulatory reporting of trades per applicable regulations.
• Provide APAC time-zone support for post-trade queries.
• Perform risk management and monitoring of systems to meet margin requirements.
• Identify and escalate potential operational risk to management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clearing members and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Trade Ops, Risk, and Technology to keep processes efficient.
• Participate in testing/DR testing and implement new clearing operations.
• Prepare and maintain SOP documentation for clearing processes.

The incumbent provides positive input & direction to specific projects partially owned by the Clearing House & the Risk team. He/She manages risks through tolerance analysis, margin analysis & customer/product specific analysis.
