Job Description

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in Cybersecurity and adjacent CISAI focus areas
• Design and develop methods/systems (e.g., secure architectures, detection/defense algorithms, measurement frameworks)
• Build reproducible research software and datasets; maintain documentation and basic lab hygiene
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners; contribute to proposal writing and sponsored projects
• Disseminate results via peer-reviewed publications, patents (as applicable), and conference presentations
• Mentor student researchers; support workshops, demos, and outreach as needed

Requirements (Skills/ Exposure)

• Strong background in at least two of: security/privacy, networks/systems, AI/ML, data analysis/measurement
• Programming proficiency in one or more of: Python, C/C++, Rust, Go, MATLAB; familiarity with Linux, Git, and reproducible pipelines
• Desirable: experience with cloud/edge/IoT platforms; microservices; containerization; GPU workflows; privacy-enhancing tech; secure software practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in teams
