Job summary

DesignBoxed is seeking a creative Video Editor to craft impactful political content for social media and digital platforms in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on short-form storytelling, platform-optimized edits, and collaboration with content writers, designers, photographers, and campaign teams to deliver timely, engaging videos across Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, X, and WhatsApp.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in political, digital media, advertising, or campaign environments.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; knowledge of DaVinci Resolve is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Reels, Shorts, YouTube, and social media video formats.
• Good sense of pacing, storytelling, music, typography, and visual composition.
• Ability to handle quick turnarounds and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Edit political videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, and other platforms.
• Edit campaign videos, speeches, interviews, event coverage, promotional videos, explainers, and short-form content.
• Create engaging cuts, transitions, subtitles, text animations, graphics, and visual effects.
• Convert raw political footage into compelling and platform-friendly content.
• Work closely with content writers, graphic designers, photographers, and campaign teams.
• Adapt videos into different formats, durations, aspect ratios, and languages as required.
• Deliver high-quality edits within tight campaign deadlines.
