Job summary

Transven Consulting is seeking a Plumbing and Fire Fighting Draughtsman responsible for drafting plumbing and fire protection systems, including water supply, drainage, and fire-fighting layouts. You will create schematic, isometric, and sectional drawings and resolve clashes to ensure compliance with relevant standards.

The role involves coordinating with other services, preparing pump room and water treatment layouts, and detailing fittings and sanitary fixtures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Calculate water supply and drainage pipe sizes.
• Prepare plumbing layout and drainage plan.
• Develop firefighting layout and pump room layout.
• Create internal toilet detailed layouts with fittings.
• Coordinate external layouts with other services.
• Prepare schematic drawings and resolve clashes in MEP model.
• Draft water treatment plant piping layout and isometric drawings.
• Produce section drawings and specify materials and fittings.

Job Summary:

The Plumbing and Fire Fighting Draughtsman will be responsible for drafting plumbing and fire protection systems, including water supply, drainage, fire-fighting layouts, and equipment placements. The role involves creating schematic, isometric, and sectional drawings, resolving clashes, and ensuring designs comply with relevant standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Calculation for the water supply, pipe size, drainage pipe size
• Plumbing layout drainage and water supply
• Firefighting layout
• Internal Toilet Detailed layout with Fittings
• External layouts in coordination with other services.
• Preparation of schematic drawing.
• Resolving Clash in MEP model.
• Pump room layout
• Manhole schedule / Load profiles etc.
• Fire pump room layout & Water treatment plant piping layout
• Hot water treatment plant
• Isometric drawings for Water Supply and drainage
• Section Drawings
• Knowledge about materials used in Plumbing & Fire Fighting
• Scheduling for Sanitary Fixtures and CP Fittings.
• Quantification of Materials like Pipes, Fittings etc.
• Knowledge of Detailing / Typical installation of services
• Knowledge about fittings standards / connection details etc.
