Job summary

Hubert Enviro Care Systems in Chennai seeks a draftsman to translate process concepts into detailed technical drawings for Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP). You will draft P&IDs, GA layouts, and fabrication drawings, ensuring accurate sizing and routing.

You will coordinate with process, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers to resolve clashes, incorporate redlines, and maintain compliant, up-to-date as-built documentation.

Responsibilities

• Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID): Draft and update detailed P&IDs, piping isometrics, and routing layouts, ensuring accurate pipe sizing and valve placement.
• General Arrangement (GA) Drawings: Create detailed GA drawings and layouts for equipment positioning, skids, and plant infrastructure.
• Fabrication & Structural Details: Develop precise fabrication drawings for tanks, structural supports, and piping.
• Engineering Coordination: Work closely with process, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers to resolve clashes and incorporate redlines or design modifications.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all drafted plans adhere to local safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry codes.
• As-Built Documentation: Update and finalize drawings post-construction to provide an accurate "as-built" record for project handovers.
