Job summary

Logixal Solutions is seeking a PL/SQL developer to design, optimize, and maintain Oracle-based data solutions. You will work on stored procedures, functions, and packages while coordinating with UI, DBA, and system teams to ensure data integrity.

You will perform data migrations, ETL tasks, and batch job automation, with a focus on performance tuning and robust testing. Strong communication and SDLC knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PL/SQL development experience.
• Strong ability to write complex SQL queries, with attention to performance.
• Hands-on data migration knowledge and ETL concepts.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Reverse Engineering and Change Implementation for specific Projects assigned, including performance tuning.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and report data.
• Liaison with other teams such as UI & Back Developers, Database Administrator, System Administrator.
• Write scripts to migrate data from legacy systems to new transformed systems.
• Perform data migrations, ETL processes, and batch job automation.
• Perform data validation, functional testing, and ETL testing.
• Execute unit, integration, and regression tests on PL/SQL code.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3 plus years of experience in PL SQL development.
• Hands‑on experience in writing complex SQL queries, Indexes, SQL performance tuning and PL‑SQL programming (Packages, Stored procedures, Functions, Triggers, Oracle schedulers, Views and M‑Views). Data migration knowledge.
• Strong coding experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL (writing stored procedure, trigger, functions, views etc.) with good debugging skills
• Should have working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Should have sound knowledge of Software Quality Practices.
• Should have sound knowledge of Release Management Process.
• Should be able to write scripts to migrate data from one system to another
• Experience in BFSI domain would be an added advantage.
• Bachelor's and Master's (preferred) in Computer Science with Strong communication skills.
