Job summary

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Playwright, TypeScript/JavaScript, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern quality engineering practices to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop reusable Page Object Model (POM) frameworks and test utilities.
• Execute cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
• Automate API testing using Playwright and other API testing tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test execution results and prepare detailed test reports.
• Integrate automation test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure test coverage, scalability, maintainability, and reliability of automation frameworks.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright Automation.
