Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Playwright Automation Engineer in Bangalore/Pune with 6+ years of experience to lead automation initiatives. You will implement and maintain Playwright-based tests, integrate with CI/CD, and contribute to security and DevOps practices.

The role requires hands-on automation, scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript, and familiarity with related tools in a fast-paced Agile environment. Location is Bangalore/Pune with notice period requirements as stated.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Playwright and other automation tools.
• Exposure to Agile, DevOps, security vulnerability management, and domain knowledge.
• Experience with scan, build and deployment tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, ServiceNow.
• Basic knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or performance testing (JMeter).
• Automation scripting in JavaScript or TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.
• Collaborate in Agile squads with DevOps and security practices.
• Create/maintain test data, execute tests, and report results.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and code reviews.
• Support verification of database and performance-related checks.

• Good hands on experience with the automation testing tools such as Playwright, Postman, SoapUI, Perfecto, GenRocket, etc.
• Exposure on Agile methodology, DevOps, Security vulnerability management and P&C Insurance domain knowledge
• Experience in the scan, build and deployment tools such as Proofpoint, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, ServiceNow, etc.
• Basic knowledge of database verification (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or performance tests (JMeter).
• Experience in automation script writing in JavaScript or TypeScript.
