Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in India seeks an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright. You will build robust test suites for UI and API testing and implement best practices like the Page Object Model.

You will run cross-browser tests, integrate with CI/CD tools, analyze results, log defects, and collaborate with developers to improve coverage and efficiency. Additionally, you will validate APIs and continuously enhance framework stability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Develop automated test scripts for UI, API, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Implement Page Object Model (POM) and automation best practices.
• Execute cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test execution results, log defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
• Perform API automation and validation using modern testing tools.
• Continuously improve automation coverage, framework stability, and execution efficiency
