Job summary

HL Mando Softtech is seeking a Software Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the core technology platform powering its products and engineering teams in India. You will work on scalable platforms, automation, and developer tooling to enable rapid delivery.

The role requires strong fundamentals in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, APIs, and secure, scalable architectures across multiple cloud providers.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, platform engineering, backend engineering, DevOps, cloud engineering, or related role.
• Strong programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking, processes, memory, filesystems, and system-level concepts.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Platform Engineer with 34 years of experience to design, build, and maintain the core technology platform that powers our products and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering fundamentals combined with experience in cloud infrastructure, platform development, automation, distributed systems, APIs, developer tooling, and scalable architecture.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving system-level engineering problems and building reusable platforms, services, and infrastructure rather than working only on individual product features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software platforms used by multiple products and engineering teams.
• Build reusable platform services, APIs, SDKs, libraries, tools, and internal developer platforms.
• Design and implement cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar platforms.
• Develop automation for application provisioning, deployment, configuration, monitoring, and operational workflows.
• Design systems for high availability, scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Work on distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, messaging, caching, databases, and service-to-service communication.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve developer productivity and release processes.
• Implement infrastructure and environment automation using Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop platform capabilities for application lifecycle management, including development, testing, staging, deployment, and production.
• Establish observability through centralized logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and monitoring.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application-level issues across distributed environments.
• Implement security best practices including identity, authentication, authorization, secrets management, network security, and secure deployment practices.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, DevOps, QA, security, and product teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.
• Create technical documentation and establish engineering standards and best practices.

Education & Experience

1. Experience: Skilled (4-5 years)

2. Qualification: B.Tech – CSE

Technical Skills:
