Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a leading healthcare VC in India to identify and engage high-potential founders for portfolio investments. You will assess top-tier entrepreneurs and build a strong brand that attracts talent, while coordinating strategic support for portfolio companies.

The role requires deep knowledge of the Indian startup ecosystem, superb communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in VC or startups, preferably international.
• Excellent judgment of top-tier talent for portfolio opportunities.
• Strong understanding of the Indian startup ecosystem.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced context.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Your responsibilities will span these key areas:

1. Attract, Engage with, and Assess High-Quality Founders: Identify top-tier founding entrepreneurs for the fund to invest in, with such founders running independent portfolio companies following fund's investment.
2. Building a robust brand through marketing and communications activities that reliably produce traction and founders.
3. Manage the founder platform and experience for founders following investment, coordinating the strategic support services the fund provides to its portfolio companies.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of relevant work experience ideally within a VC or startup(and an Ex-VC), preferably in an international context
• Excellent judge of top tier talent
• Strong understanding of the Indian startup ecosystem.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
