Job summary

Saika Technologies is seeking a Platform Engineer to own production backend services in a microservices environment. You should be proficient with Java/Kotlin, Python, or Go and SQL/PostgreSQL, and you will work hands-on with Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm), CI/CD, and GitOps to deploy reliable services.

You will operate in cloud environments (GCP or AWS) with IAM, managed databases, object storage and messaging, building event-driven systems and REST APIs behind a gateway.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production backend experience in a microservices setup
• Proficient in Java/Kotlin, Python, or Go with SQL/PostgreSQL
• Hands-on with Kubernetes (kubectl, Helm/Kustomize), CI/CD and GitOps
• Experience with GCP or AWS including IAM, managed DBs, object storage, and messaging

Responsibilities

• Own production backend services in a microservices environment
• Develop and maintain scalable services using Java/Kotlin, Python, or Go with SQL/PostgreSQL
• Operate Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps for reliable deployments
