Job summary

XCaliber Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our core engineering team in a remote-friendly Bengaluru-based role with periodic in-person collaboration.

Deploy and maintain AI agents, orchestration tools, and data pipelines at scale, using Python, Go, or Node.js, along with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and distributed runtimes such as Dapr.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Go, or Node.js.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with distributed systems and orchestration tools like Ray and Temporal.
• Hands-on deploying AI agents using distributed runtimes (Dapr).
• Experience with vector databases and graph stores (FAISS, OpenSearch, Neo4j).

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain AI agents, services and agentic workflows for real-time healthcare applications at scale.
• Work on orchestration and workflow management tools for clinical workflows and data ingestion, processing pipelines.
• Implement and refine agent evaluation and observability frameworks for performance tuning and adaptability.
• Collaborate with open-source frameworks and SDKs to extend our Agent Builder Platform.

Remote, Bangalore

Location: While the role is remote-friendly, candidates are expected to be based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore for periodic in-person collaboration.

What You Will Work On

As part of our core engineering team, you will:

• Deploy and maintain AI agents, services and agentic workflows for real-time healthcare applications at scale.
• Work on orchestration and workflow management tools for clinical workflows and data ingestion, processing pipelines.
• Implement and refine agent evaluation and observability frameworks for performance tuning and adaptability.
• Work with open-source frameworks and SDKs to extend our Agent Builder Platform.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), Go, or Node.js.
• Worked with AWS cloud services, Containerization Tools (Docker, Kubernetes) & DevOps understanding – ArgoCD, Github Actions etc.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and orchestration tools such as Ray and Temporal
• Hands-on experience with deploying and managing AI agents using distributed application runtimes (Dapr)
• Managing and scaling – Vector databases (e.g., FAISS, OpenSearch), Graph stores (e.g., Neo4j) & Analytical storage systems (e.g., Apache Iceberg)
