Job summary

Esscorp Tech in Bengaluru seeks a cloud-native platform engineer with strong Kubernetes and GitOps expertise to build scalable, secure environments for production workloads.

You will drive automation using Terraform, FluxCD/ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions, implement cloud security and governance, and expand observability with Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor and AWS CloudWatch, all while championing an engineering mindset focused on reusable patterns and reliable production systems.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS; cloud networking, identity, security and governance.
• Kubernetes experience with containers, workload deployment, RBAC, ingress, secrets and production operations.
• GitOps experience with Flux CD and/or Argo CD for deployment automation.
• CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, release workflows, rollback patterns and Git-based practices.
• IaC experience with Terraform and environment provisioning.
• Cross plane knowledge of cross plane concepts and platform APIs.
• Programming skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, Java or PowerShell.
• Observability experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace.
• Automation mindset with reusable patterns supporting production systems.

MUST-HAVE's

• Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS; cloud networking, identity, security and governance.
• Kubernetes: Strong experience with Kubernetes, containers, workload deployment, RBAC, ingress, secrets and production operations.
• GitOps: Hands-on experience with Flux CD and/or Argo CD for deployment automation and environment promotion.
• CI/CD: Strong experience with GitHub Actions, release workflows, rollback patterns and Git-based engineering practices.
• IaC: Strong experience with Terraform, reusable modules, state management and environment-based provisioning.
• Cross plane: Working knowledge of Cross plane, control plane concepts, compositions, claims and platform APIs.
• Programming (Dev): Good scripting or development skills in Python, Go, TypeScript, Java or PowerShell.
• Observability: Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace or equivalent tools.
