Job summary

PI Industries Ltd. in Udaipur is seeking an Executive/Supervisor for Tech Transfer to oversee operation of process equipment including reactors, filters, distillation columns and pumps. You will monitor parameters per SOP and drive process improvements with QC/R&D during trials.

The role requires 7–9 years in agro/fine chemicals or pharma-API, with hands-on equipment experience and a strong safety mindset. You will supervise contract workers and follow the plant in-charge guidance.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Chemistry is required.
• 7–9 years of experience in agro chemicals/fine chemicals/pharma-API, or related fields.
• Experience with operation of reactors, filters, distillation columns and pumps was preferred.
• Location in Udaipur; domain experience in Tech Transfer is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment such as reactors, filters, distillation column and pumps.
• Monitor process parameters as per SOP and suggest improvements.
• Coordinate with QC/R&D for trials and troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping on the shop floor during operation.
• Supervise contract workers and follow plant in-charge instructions.

Position Purpose

Person will be responsible for operation of process equipment’s like Reactors/ filters/ distillation column/pumps etc.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Running & monitoring the process parameters as per SOP.

Operational Responsibilities

• Identification of critical parameters & its suggestions/implementation in SOP.
• Inputs for trouble shooting.
• Inputs for improvement of processes during commissioning & after commissioning.
• Coordination with QC/R&D for running trials.
• Maintaining safety & house keeping on the shop floor during the operation.

Financial Responsibilities

• Contribute to budget proposals
• Contribute to budgetary controls within the area of responsibility.

People Responsibilities

• Coordination with PD engineers, R&D scientist & analytical dept.
• Follow the instruction of plant incharge.
• Supervise the contract workers.

Education Qualification

• M.Sc. / B.Sc. in Chemistry

Work Experience

• 7 Yrs. to 9 Yrs.
