Job summary

Konnect Consultants Kota seeks a skilled operations professional to manage daily flour milling plant activities across Gujarat, from wheat receipt to dispatch. You will monitor processing stages and coordinate with procurement, QA, and logistics to meet targets.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in flour milling or related food processing, with strong Excel/MIS reporting, safety and quality awareness, and the ability to work in shifts.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Flour Milling, Food Processing, or Grain Processing.
• Direct experience in wheat flour, atta, or maida operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of flour milling plants in Gujarat (Nadiad, Himatnagar, Surat) from wheat receipt to dispatch.
• Monitor cleaning, conditioning, milling, sieving, blending, and packing processes.
• Ensure production and dispatch plans meet daily and monthly targets.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse for timely materials.
• Maintain inventory, production, and MIS records.
• Coordinate with Quality Control for testing raw materials and products.
• Monitor quality parameters like moisture, ash, color.
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics for timely movement.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, yield, energy efficiency, and cost.
• Support audits and closes observations and corrective actions.

*Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of flour milling plants located in Gujarat at Nadiad, Himatnagar, and Surat, covering activities from wheat receipt to finished goods dispatch.
• Monitor wheat cleaning, conditioning/tempering, milling, sieving, blending, and packing processes.
• Ensure production and dispatch plans are achieved as per daily and monthly targets.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams for timely availability of wheat and packing materials.
• Maintain inventory records for wheat, maida, bran, by-products, and packaging materials.
• Ensure accurate production records, stock records, and operational MIS reporting.
• Coordinate with Quality Control teams for testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor critical quality parameters including moisture, ash content, color, and other product specifications.
• Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams for timely movement of finished goods.
• Identify opportunities for improving productivity, extraction yield, energy efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations and corrective actions.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in:

• Candidates with experience in Flour Milling or Maida Plant Operations will be preferred.

Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in:

• Direct experience in wheat flour, atta, or maida manufacturing operations will be an added advantage.
