Adler Talent Solutions Pvt Ltd in Gandhidham, India is seeking an experienced Plant Manager / Lab Manager to oversee plant operations and laboratory quality-control activities. The role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership, and a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operations, monitor processes, supervise testing, ensure product quality, calibrate equipment and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Formación

• Minimum 57 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, solvents, refinery or oil & gas industries preferred.
• Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Petrochemical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Practical knowledge of plant operations, chemical processes and/or laboratory testing.
• Strong leadership, team management and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, reporting and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day plant operations and ensure smooth production.
• Monitor production processes, output, yield and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with maintenance, production, stores and procurement teams.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery and raw materials.
• Maintain production records and operational reports.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise testing of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products.
• Ensure product quality as per defined specifications and testing standards.
• Review test reports and maintain laboratory documentation.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Follow safe chemical handling, storage and disposal procedures.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety procedures and chemical handling protocols.
• Monitor PPE usage and safe working practices.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe storage of chemicals.
• Support safety inspections, risk assessments and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
