Jain International Trade Organisation - India is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee our corrugated box manufacturing unit in Indore. You will drive production planning, machine and manpower management, and quality control to meet deadlines while ensuring safety and cost efficiency.

The role requires coordinating with sales and procurement, guiding operators and supervisors, monitoring waste, and driving continuous improvement to boost productivity and on-time dispatch.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production to meet deadlines.
• Oversee operation and maintenance of corrugating machines and related equipment.
• Ensure optimal use of raw materials to minimize waste and costs.
• Lead plant staff including operators, helpers, and supervisors; assign shifts.
• Implement and monitor quality checks at all production stages.
• Coordinate with sales on order requirements and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with purchase/store for timely availability of raw materials.
• Maintain plant safety, housekeeping, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor breakdowns and coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Track daily production and wastage reports and report to management.
• Ensure timely dispatch and coordinate with logistics for on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs.

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our corrugated box manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, machine and manpower management, quality control, and ensuring timely dispatch, while maintaining safety, cost-efficiency, and adherence to production targets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production of corrugated boxes to meet order deadlines
• Oversee operation and maintenance of corrugating machines, flexo printers, die-cutting, and other plant equipment
• Ensure optimum utilization of raw materials (kraft paper, reels) to minimize wastage and control costs
• Manage and lead plant staff including machine operators, helpers, and supervisors; allocate manpower shift-wise
• Implement and monitor quality control checks at every production stage to ensure output meets client specifications
• Coordinate with the sales team on order requirements, delivery timelines, and special specifications
• Coordinate with the purchase/store team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and consumables
• Maintain plant safety standards, housekeeping, and compliance with statutory/factory regulations
• Monitor machine breakdowns and coordinate timely repair/preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
• Track daily production reports, wastage reports, and machine efficiency, and report to management
• Ensure timely dispatch and coordinate with logistics for on-time delivery to clients
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce production costs
