Job summary

Resustainability seeks an experienced leader to steer regional operations across hazardous waste treatment facilities and logistics. You will drive uptime, efficiency, and SOP standardization, while ensuring strict compliance with environmental regulations and waste management rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental/Chemical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field.
• 15–20 years of experience in hazardous waste, wastewater, environmental infra, or related operations.
• Minimum 5 years in regional/senior operational leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of waste treatment technologies, environmental regulations, and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional operations across hazardous waste treatment, ETP/STP, incineration, secured landfills, collection and transportation.
• Ensure plant uptime, capacity utilization, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Standardize SOPs and drive continuous improvement across facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Hazardous Waste Management Rules, Pollution Control Board requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Manage regulatory inspections, audits, compliance documentation, and corrective actions.
• Drive HSE standards, safe handling/transportation of hazardous and biomedical waste, and a zero-incident culture.
• Oversee fleet, logistics, route planning, GPS tracking, and transportation efficiency.
• Manage regional budgets and optimize manpower, fuel, maintenance, consumables, and operational costs.
• Monitor treatment efficiency, emissions, effluent parameters, maintenance, and asset performance.
• Lead and develop regional teams while managing key internal and external stakeholders.

• Minimum 5 years in a regional/senior operational leadership role.


• Strong knowledge of waste treatment technologies, environmental regulations, and operational compliance.


• Experience with hazardous waste incinerators, secured landfills, wastewater recycling/ZLD, and Pollution Control Board inspections preferred.
