Job summary

Eaton Aerospace Division in Bengaluru is seeking a Plant Manager to drive strategic and operational leadership, P&L, and growth for the Bangalore facility. You will lead Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Maintenance, applying Lean/Six Sigma tools to cut costs and improve OEE while fostering a zero-incident safety culture.

This role collaborates with HR for talent development, oversees production planning, procurement, and on-time delivery, and implements the Eaton Business System

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/MBA (Operations/Strategy) required; CSCP/CPIM preferred.
• 15+ years across Operations, Supply Chain, Opex, Engineering in manufacturing with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing global stakeholders; ERP and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge.
• Strong English communication skills.

• Deliver and develop SCM, ME, Quality, EHS & Customer Support functions and Employee Development.
• Manage WIP, OTR/OTD, FPY/FRY, operator safety.
• TPM of plant machinery, OEE, Tool Management and Control.
• Continuous Improvement Processes.
• Plan production and scheduling in coordination with division SIOP and plant SCM.
• Manage purchase & materials and expenses control & monitoring the same regularly.
• Deliver products on due date as per the production and sales plans.
• Own and contribute in meeting high5 of the plant; foster a culture of meeting high5.
• Assist in Lean Manufacturing implementation at the shop and adherence to Eaton Business System.
• Oversee new machine installation projects from concept to commissioning.

Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Plant Manager for its Bangalore location.Job Summary:Plant Manager is responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership. Drive profit and loss, growth strategy and organizational direction to meet and exceed short and long-term business goals. And ensure that staff is responsive and vibrant for new assignments.Implementation of Lean Manufacturing at Shop. Implementation and adherence to the Eaton Business System.Managing the new machine installation project activities right from the conceptualization stage to the execution, involving finalization of specification, scheduling, monitoring, trials & commissioning.Qualifications:B.E. / B.Tech / MBA (Operations/Strategy).Additional Certifications in Supply Chain (CSCP/CPIM) preferred.15+ years across Operations, Supply Chain, Opex, Engineering in a Manufacturing environment with atleast 5 years in a leadership role.Experience managing global stakeholders.Knowledge of ERP and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.Good communication skills with proficiency in English.All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
