Job summary

Nestl Panipat is seeking a Mechanical engineer to lead maintenance and project activities at the plant. The role focuses on preventive, predictive and shutdown maintenance of line equipment and utilities, budgeting, and executing performance improvement projects.

The candidate will manage Capex projects, monitor power and fuel budgets, and drive Kaizens, OEE, and safety and hygiene compliance in line with HACCP/GMP standards. 5+ years in maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (reputed college).
• Experience in maintenance and projects (minimum 5 years).
• Knowledge of HACCP/GMP and safety standards.

Job description

Job Purpose: To ensure Predictive, Preventive and Shutdown maintenance of all Line Equipment and related Utilities, prepare maintenance budgets and execute performance improvement projects in Plant

Role & responsibilities

• Will be responsible for Preventive and Predictive Maintenance of all line equipment. The line equipment includes Milk Reception, Spray Drying, Rotary Valves, Conveying Blowers, Evaporators, Mixers, Pumps and utilities like HVAC, Dehumidifiers, Compressors, Water Treatment Plant, Nitrogen Plant, Boilers etc.
• Preparing and Monitoring Maintenance Budget.
• To work on Cost Optimization and all improvement related projects at plant.
• Take up various projects under Capex.
• Meet Power, Fuel consumption budgets.
• Kaizens, OPL, Objectives, OEE, Breakdown Analysis.
• Understanding of Autonomous Maintenance.
• Preparation of Design, Layout, Co-ordination with vendor
• Responsible for establishment, implementation of Environmental, Occupational and Safety Management Systems.
• Knowledge of Hygiene Engineering and Quality Systems like HACCP,GMP.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering from any reputed engineering college)
• At least 5 years of experience in Maintenance and Projects function
