Job summary

Endurance Technologies in Sanand, Gujarat, is seeking a Plant EHS Head (Executive Grade) with 8-15 years of experience. The role requires a degree/diploma in engineering with ADIS, NEBOSH and Fire & Safety certifications.

You will lead EHS strategy, drive regulatory compliance, and oversee water treatment, waste management, and safety programs at the plant. The candidate will implement ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, conduct risk assessments and audits, coordinate with authorities, and build a culture

Qualifications

• 08-15 years of Plant EHS experience in Automotive, Auto Components, Engineering, Die Casting, or Manufacturing industries.
• Strong expertise in ZLD, ETP, STP, WTP operations, hazardous waste management, environmental compliance, and fire safety systems.
• Proven experience handling statutory audits, regulatory inspections, and EHS management systems.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, training, and team-building capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Plant EHS strategy, regulatory compliance, and safety culture initiatives across the manufacturing facility.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to EHS, Factories Act, Environment Protection Act, Fire Safety, and Occupational Health standards.
• Manage and monitor ETP, STP, Water Treatment Plant (WTP), and ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) systems, ensuring efficient operation and environmental compliance.
• Drive environmental sustainability initiatives including water conservation, wastewater recycling, waste management, and pollution control.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, incident investigations, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and implement EHS policies, SOPs, emergency response plans, and business continuity measures.
• Lead fire safety management, mock drills, emergency preparedness, and crisis management programs.
• Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and regulatory agencies for inspections and compliance approvals.
• Facilitate ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 implementation, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
