SYSTRA India is seeking a Planning Lead to manage the planning team and oversee project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using Primavera P6 and MSP. The role combines leadership with hands-on delivery across metro, rail, and infrastructure projects in India.

The successful candidate will drive scheduling standards, develop integrated schedules, and coordinate with clients to mitigate delays, ensuring on-time performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of planning and scheduling experience, including leadership of a planning team.
• Hands-on proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Experience developing and controlling schedules through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of critical path methodology, resource planning, progress measurement, and schedule recovery.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects or complex work packages.
• Relevant infrastructure project experience.
• A relevant planning, scheduling, or project management certification is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the planning team and hands-on project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MSP).
• Provide planning leadership across projects, ensure consistent scheduling standards, and personally develop and maintain schedules for assigned projects.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the planning team, managing workloads and ensuring quality and consistency of schedules and reports.
• Establish planning standards, procedures, and reporting templates; support recruitment, training, and performance reviews.
• Develop, baseline, and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and MSP, including WBS, milestones, dependencies, and resource/cost loading.
• Monitor progress against baselines, analyse critical paths and variances, and develop look-ahead and recovery plans.
• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and performance indicators; communicate schedule status, risks, and corrective actions.
• Assess the impact of changes and delays, support delay analysis and extension-of-time assessments, and maintain schedule records.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to align schedules, lead progress reviews, and resolve or elevate delivery risks.

CTR – Regional Technical Centre of Systra India takes care of the international production of major projects at Systra Group level. CTR team in India is proficient in working on multi-disciplinary projects integrating Design, BIM and Drawing production in a seamless workflow incorporating different software. The technical and management teams within CTR get an opportunity to work and interact with other CTR teams within Systra Group from Paris, Poland, Dubai, Philippines and Brazil.

Missions/Main Duties

• We are seeking a Planning Lead to manage the planning team while maintaining a hands-on role in project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (MSP).
• The successful candidate will provide planning leadership across projects, ensure consistent scheduling standards, and personally develop and maintain schedules for assigned projects. This is a working leadership role that combines team management with practical project delivery.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the planning team, managing workloads and ensuring quality and consistency of schedules and reports.

• Demonstrated hands‑on proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project; experience must extend beyond reviewing schedules prepared by others.
• Experience developing and controlling schedules through the full project lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of critical path methodology, resource planning, progress measurement, and schedule recovery.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects or complex work packages.
• Relevant industry experience in infrastructure projects.
• A relevant planning, scheduling, or project management certification is desirable.
