About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Placement Head to lead and manage our placement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong industry connections, ensuring high placement rates, and mentoring students to enhance their employability. This role is key to aligning academic programs with industry needs and providing students with excellent career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive placement strategy aligned with institutional goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, recruiters, and industry stakeholders.
• Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and industry interaction sessions.
• Track placement statistics, maintain records, and report key metrics to management.
• Guide and mentor students on resume building, interview preparation, soft skills, and career planning.
• Coordinate with academic departments to align curriculum with market trends.
• Develop internships and on-the-job training opportunities for students.
• Lead a team of placement officers and coordinate their activities efficiently.
• Stay updated on industry trends, hiring practices, and employability skills.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in placements, corporate relations, or talent acquisition.
• Strong network with recruiters across industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership ability with a strategic mindset and result-oriented approach.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
