Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- 5.5 to 10 years of experience as Oracle PLSQL Developer.
- Possess experience in end-to-end Development and / or Implementation and / or Support activities covering expertise areas such as design of customizations, Coding and Unit testing, completing Test cycle rounds including End of Days, migrations, and Integrations for Oracle Core banking products
- Working knowledge of Release management and Source control tools
- Able to perform issue tracking for applications and follow-up for resolution of same with collaborators
- Possess good client interaction skills in areas including presentation of solutions
- Exposure to software deployment and solving on Application Server software especially Oracle Weblogic
- Exposure to analysis of Oracle Database AWR/ADDM reports and fixing of database performance issues.
- Awareness of banking terminologies and concepts
- Possess IT skills including Microsoft Office, Basic SQL querying
- Possess good communication & documentation skills in English
- Experience in development and / or implementation and / or support of core banking applications
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree
- Willing to work at offshore as well as travel to client locations
- Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced and exciting environment
- Solid Understanding on Core Java, PL/SQL
- Development / Implementation experience in FLEXCUBE / core banking domain projects
- Knowledge of SQL is required
- Banking domain knowledge in new areas such as blockchain etc. is a plus
- Knowledge of any of the following is a plus - DevOps tools, Testing tools, Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, middleware such as Oracle Fusion SOA Suite
- Experience in working in BFSI Domain and specifically Banking is important
- Strong Oracle tech skills - PL/SQL, SQL, Java.
- Experience in working on end-to-end implementation of the solution from inception to debut
- Strong problem-solving skills and should have participated in supporting critical phases of projects
