Job summary

Talent Formula in India collaborates with PKF Canberra to provide outsourced financial and accounting HR services. The Business Services Specialist role offers exposure to multiple domains within a chartered accounting context and the opportunity to work from India with client-driven flexibility.

You will handle financial statements, tax returns, and compliance work across entities, leveraging Xero, MYOB, and other tools while building client relationships and delivering high-quality advisory

Qualifications

• Qualified or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Proficient in Xero is a must; exposure to MYOB preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in business services within a chartered accounting context.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations.
• Knowledge of GST matters.
• Xero Accreditation is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs.
• Prepare work papers substantiating financial statement balances.
• Prepare compliance filings and returns such as FBT, BAS and IAS.
• Provide expert financial reporting across diverse entities.
• Offer detailed tax advisory services and compliance.
• Research taxation and business matters.

Key Roles and responsibilities

We are in search of an individual who will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive services to our clients. This position offers exposure to various domains, including but not limited to:

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs.
• Preparation of work papers substantiating Financial Statement balances
• Preparing compliance filing and returns such as FBT, BAS and IAS
• Expert Financial Reporting across a diverse range of business entities
• Skilful Tax Compliance for entities of various structures, alongside detailed advisory services
• In-depth Research into taxation and business matters
• Proficiency in widely used accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, BGL, etc.

To be considered for this role, your background should ideally include:

• Qualified or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant.
• Proficient in Xero is a must. Exposure to MYOB is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in business services within a chartered accounting context
• Knowledge of payroll regulations
• Knowledge of GST matters.
• Xero Accreditation is recommended.
