Job summary

FlyVI Design, based in Bengaluru, seeks Piping Designers and Structural Detailers for full-time, on-site work. The role focuses on preparing detailed piping and structural shop drawings, coordinating with engineers and BIM teams, and updating fabrication details throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have strong Tekla and 3D modeling skills, experience with AutoCAD Plant3D and Revit, and a solid understanding of codes and standards for plant layouts.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Structural Tekla modeling & Shop Drawings and Piping 3D modeling, General Arrangement Drawing & Isometrics for piping and structural components.
• Proficiency in Architectural Drawings related to industrial and commercial facilities.
• Knowledge of Structural Engineering principles applied to steel structures and plant layouts.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows.
• Hands-on experience with CAD and 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD Plant3D, Revit & Tekla).
• Ability to interpret engineering specifications, codes, and standards accurately.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Relevant diploma or degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or drafting-related disciplines.
• Prior experience in industrial plant engineering or structural detailing is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed piping and structural shop drawings, including general arrangements, layouts, and isometrics.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Piping Designers and Structural Detailers. The role involves preparing detailed piping and structural shop drawings, including general arrangements, layouts, and isometrics, based on engineering inputs and project specifications. The designer/detailers will develop and update shop drawings and fabrication details, coordinate with engineers and BIM teams, and ensure drawings comply with relevant codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing design information, performing clash checks in 3D models, maintaining drawing records, and supporting documentation for construction, installation, and fabrication activities. The role also requires close coordination with project stakeholders to resolve design issues and support efficient project delivery.
