Job summary

Alstom seeks a PI Customer Site Manager to lead on-site Product Introduction activities, driving reliability growth and fleet availability while coordinating with Project Engineering, Quality, and RAMS teams.

You will manage a PI Customer Site team, enforce EHS rules, and support commissioning/validation, building strong ties with customer depot management and maintainers.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Engineering or Industrial studies.
  • Experience in depot management and strong field experience.
  • Proven ability to engage with customers and maintain professional relationships.
  • Knowledge of railway safety, RAM, and EHS practices.
  • Technical expertise in mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Experience with DFQ, quality, and audit processes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the PI Customer Site team and ensure availability of qualified competencies.
  • Coordinate and support employees in technical and administrative tasks.
  • Ensure fleet availability according to contractual commitments and lead restoration efforts.
  • Supervise local consignment and warranty stock availability.
  • Provide Return of Experience (REX) to the organization during the warranty period.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customer depot management and maintainers.
  • Enforce on-site Alstom and customer EHS rules during operations.

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your leadership and technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside proactive and collaborative teammates.


You'll play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of Product Introduction (PI) activities at customer sites, contributing to reliability growth and maintaining fleet availability. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Engineering, Quality, and RAMS teams), manage a dedicated PI Customer Site team, and ensure compliance with EHS and security regulations, among other responsibilities.


You'll specifically take care of deploying and enforcing Alstom and customer EHS rules on-site, but also ensuring the smooth execution of commissioning and validation support when required.

  • Managing the PI Customer Site team and ensuring the availability of necessary and qualified competencies.

  • Coordinating and supporting employees in their technical and administrative tasks.

  • Ensuring fleet availability according to contractual commitments and leading efforts to restore availability when needed.
