Job summary

Thanal in Kannur seeks a dedicated physiotherapist to assess beneficiaries' physical conditions and mobility, and to develop personalized treatment plans that improve strength and functional ability. • Assess beneficiaries' physical conditions, mobility, muscle strength, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and other appropriate physiotherapy interventions.
• Support persons with disabilities in improving movement, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Monitor treatment progress and modify therapy plans based on beneficiaries' needs.
• Educate beneficiaries and caregivers on exercises, positioning, and home-based rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate assessment records, treatment notes, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, doctors, and other rehabilitation professionals.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of physiotherapy equipment.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and rehabilitation programmes.
• Perform other duties assigned by the reporting officer.
