Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical condition and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans.
• Provide rehabilitation for geriatric patients with neurological, orthopedic, post-surgical, and age-related conditions.
• Conduct mobility, balance, gait, strength, flexibility, and endurance training.
• Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercise programs, fall prevention, posture correction, and home-based rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Work closely with physicians, occupational therapists, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure safe handling and proper use of physiotherapy equipment.
• Participate in patient education programs, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental activities.
• Maintain infection control practices and comply with hospital policies and rehabilitation protocols.
