Job summary

MIOT International in Tamil Nadu is seeking a Physiotherapist with experience in hospital-based care to provide treatments using manual techniques, exercise therapy, and electrotherapy. You will participate in evening, night and holiday services and support sick patient management as needed.

The position involves caring for patients in wards or ICU under the supervision of the Unit In-charge, assessing ICU patients, preoperative patients, and preparing for discharge while maintaining accurate

Responsibilities

• To provide treatments to patients by use of handling, manual physiotherapy techniques, exercise therapy & electrotherapy.
• To participate in the evening, night & holiday service, which includes advanced respiratory skill, sick patient management etc if necessary.
• To be responsible for the patients care of the allocated patients in the allocated area (Ward/ICU) under the supervision of the Unit In-charge.
• To assess the patients in the ICU & provide appropriate physiotherapy services including early mobilization etc.
• To assess the preoperative patients & provide physiotherapy education breathing exercise & incentive spirometry etc
• To prepare the patient for discharge under the supervision of senior & In-charge.
• Reporting the activities including patient care and progress to the In-charge.
• To be responsible to update all concerned records in the particular unit
• Any other assigned from the Management / Consultant from time to time.
