Study With Ib in Kolkata is seeking a sincere Physics Faculty to join our growing coaching centre. The candidate will teach Physics to students preparing for CBSE, ICSE, ISC, NEET, and JEE exams.

The role requires delivering structured lessons, building conceptual understanding, and preparing notes and mock tests while coordinating with staff and reporting progress to parents as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics required.
• Strong command of Physics concepts for Classes IX–XII.
• Knowledge of CBSE, ICSE and ISC curricula.
• Understanding NEET and JEE examination patterns.
• Ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner.
• Strong numerical, analytical and classroom-management skills.
• Good English communication; Bengali and/or Hindi knowledge is an advantage.
• Desirable ability to prepare digital notes, worksheets and presentations.

Responsibilities

Physics Faculty Required

Classes and Courses

The selected faculty member will teach Physics to students preparing for:

• Classes IXXII: CBSE, ICSE and ISC
• NEET
• JEE Main and Advanced

• Conduct regular classroom sessions in a clear and engaging manner.
• Build strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills among students.
• Prepare structured lesson plans according to the syllabus and academic schedule.
• Develop high-quality notes, worksheets, assignments and study materials.
• Prepare and conduct regular chapter-wise, unit and mock tests.
• Check answer scripts, notebooks and assignments carefully and on time.
• Provide constructive feedback and identify each students areas for improvement.
• Conduct doubt-clearing and revision sessions whenever required.
• Monitor students academic progress and maintain performance records.
• Complete the syllabus within the planned timeframe.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Good communication skills in English. Knowledge of Bengali and/or Hindi will be an advantage.
• Basic ability to prepare digital notes, worksheets and presentations is desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Previous teaching experience in a school, coaching centre or private academic institution is preferred.
• Freshers with excellent subject knowledge, communication skills and a genuine passion for teaching may also apply.
• Candidates with experience in preparing students for NEET or JEE will receive preference.
