Pana Community Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for the CMC Specialty Clinic. This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and organized check-in experience while supporting efficient registration and clinic operations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, registering and scheduling, verifying insurance, collecting payments, handling calls, maintaining HIPAA, and collaborating with a compassionate team to deliver excellent customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical office experience preferred.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills, including navigation multiple computer applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, family members, physicians, and team members.
• Friendly, compassionate, and committed to outstanding customer service.
• Experience with office equipment such as calculators, computer monitors/printers, fax machines, and copiers preferred.
