The University of Kansas Health System - Liberty Campus seeks a board-certified/eligible Pulmonologist to join a collaborative team providing outpatient pulmonary care, inpatient consults, and occasional critical care coverage in Liberty, MO.

The role offers opportunities to expand sleep medicine within the service line, access to comprehensive resources, and a supportive multidisciplinary environment for patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
• Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine completed.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
• Sleep Medicine training welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pulmonary care and inpatient consultative services.

Physician - Pulmonologist Liberty Hospital

Position Summary / Career Interest:

Physician - Pulmonologist

Liberty Hospital, now part of The University of Kansas Health System, is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Pulmonologist to join its dedicated team, where we prioritize collaboration, community care, and patient-centered excellence. This position offers a dynamic blend of outpatient pulmonary care, inpatient consultative services, and critical care coverage within a collaborative team of pulmonary and critical care physicians.

The practice is well supported with access to comprehensive resources, including CT surgery, pulmonary rehabilitation, a sleep lab, EBUS, and navigational bronchoscopy. The physician will work closely with nurse practitioners and multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

In addition to pulmonary and critical care responsibilities, candidates may elect to incorporate Sleep Medicine into their practice based on their interests and training. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine services within the community.

Required Qualifications:

• MD, DO, or equivalent degree
• Completion of fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
• Sleep Medicine training and/or board certification welcomed but not required
