Job Description:
Client Assessment & Program Design
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate clients baseline fitness, mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Review medical histories and collaborate with therapists to understand specific physical or cognitive limitations.
- Develop Individualized Physical Education (IPE) and conditioning plans aligned with clients vocational goals.
Instruction & Rehabilitation
- Lead individual and group physical education classes, focusing on functional fitness, ergonomics, and work‑related physical conditioning.
- Teach adaptive sports, recreational activities, and stress‑management techniques to improve mental and physical well‑being.
- Instruct clients on proper body mechanics, lifting techniques, and posture to prevent workplace injuries.
Collaboration & Case Management
- Partner with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and vocational counselors to ensure a holistic approach to client rehabilitation.
- Modify exercises and equipment to accommodate diverse learning styles and physical abilities.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of client progress, attendance, and behavioral observations.
Safety & Environment Management
- Ensure all physical education equipment and facilities are safe, clean, and accessible to all participants.
- Adhere to institutional safety protocols and respond appropriately to medical emergencies or behavioral incidents.
