• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 5-8 years of hands-on PHP/web development experience.
• Strong experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, payment gateways and third-party services.
• Experience with WordPress themes and plugins development.
• Experience with Git/version control preferred.
• Experience in a digital agency or handling multiple client projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize and maintain PHP-based websites and web applications.
• Develop WordPress websites, themes and plugins.
• Work extensively with WooCommerce for ecommerce website development and customization.
• Develop custom functionalities based on client requirements.
• Integrate APIs, payment gateways and third‑party services.
• Customize and extend existing plugins and themes.
• Work with databases such as MySQL for data management and optimization.
• Troubleshoot website issues and resolve technical bugs.
• Optimize websites for performance, security and scalability.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, SEO specialists, content teams and project managers.
• Convert design files such as Figma/PSD into functional web pages.
