Job summary

Allrite Group is seeking a PHP Developer to join the technology team and work on the development, maintenance, and improvement of our internal business systems and processes.

The role involves both frontend and backend development, collaborating with internal teams to translate business requirements into reliable, user-friendly software solutions, with a focus on secure, scalable applications.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PHP and Laravel with hands-on backend work.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating systems.
• Strong MySQL skills including queries, design, optimization and data management.
• Ability to implement authentication, authorization and RBAC across apps.
• Familiarity with frontend basics (HTML5, CSS3, JS) and responsive interfaces.
• Knowledge of modern JS frameworks is a plus (React/Vue).
• Awareness of web security best practices and code documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal web applications and business systems.
• Build and enhance backend functionality in PHP.

• Develop and document APIs and integrations with internal/external systems.

The role involves both frontend and backend development, working closely with internal teams to understand business requirements and convert them into reliable, user-friendly software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain internal web applications and business management systems.
• Build and improve backend functionality using PHP.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces.
• Create and maintain APIs and integrations with internal/external systems.
• Work with MySQL databases, including database design, queries, optimization, and data management.
• Improve existing workflows through automation and system enhancements.
• Identify technical issues and troubleshoot bugs across frontend and backend.
• Maintain and enhance existing PHP applications and websites.
• Implement role-based access, dashboards, forms, reports, notifications, and workflow features.
• Work with the team to understand business processes and develop practical technical solutions.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, maintainable, and properly documented.
• Participate in testing, deployment, and ongoing system improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills:

Backend:

• Strong knowledge of PHP
• Experience with Laravel or another modern PHP framework
• Good understanding of MySQL
• REST API development and integration
• Authentication, authorization, and role-based access
• Understanding of backend architecture and database design
• Good knowledge of Generative AI & Agentic AI

Frontend:

• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience with Bootstrap or similar UI frameworks
• Ability to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces
• Experience with AJAX/API-based frontend functionality
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React/Vue is a plus

Additional Skills :

• Git/GitHub or similar version-control systems
• Debugging and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of web security best practices
• Basic knowledge of Linux/server environments is a plus
• Experience integrating third-party APIs/services is a plus
