Job summary

Tekskills Inc. is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our on-site team in India (Hyderabad/Bangalore). You will develop and maintain web applications using PHP, build back-end services and RESTful APIs, and work with Laravel and CodeIgniter to deliver scalable solutions.

You should be proficient in JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, Angular, MySQL, and AWS, write clean code, participate in code reviews, and deploy applications on AWS. Experience with payment gateways is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong PHP hands-on experience with modern frameworks.
• Experience with Laravel and CodeIgniter.
• Proficient in JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, and Angular.
• Experience designing and optimizing MySQL databases.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP.
• Develop backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Laravel is preferred.
• Work with CodeIgniter for application development and maintenance.
• Develop responsive web interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Angular.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases and queries.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and payment gateways.
• Work with Stripe, Razorpay, PayUMoney, Twilio, Textlocal, Firebase, and WhatsApp APIs.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
• Write clean, reusable, secure, and maintainable code.
• Perform code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control.
• Test and debug APIs using Postman.
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS.
