Job summary

Thyrocare Technologies Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru seeks a Phlebotomist – Home Collection to collect blood samples at patients' homes, perform ECG, and ensure safe transport to the lab.

You will visit homes on a fixed schedule, collect via Vacutainer, ensure proper labeling, maintain hygiene, and complete MER forms while delivering courteous patient service.

Qualifications

• DMLT / MLT certification is mandatory.
• B.Sc Nursing or GNM candidates can also be considered.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in Vacutainer blood collection (mandatory).
• Experience in home collection is preferred.
• Two-wheeler with valid driving license is preferred.
• Willingness to travel within assigned area (up to 15 km radius).

Responsibilities

• Visit patients’ homes for sample collection as per the assigned schedule.
• Perform blood collection using Vacutainer and other sample collection procedures safely and accurately.
• Conduct ECG procedures when required.
• Complete and verify MER forms accurately.
• Ensure proper labeling, barcoding, and documentation of samples.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain cold chain and ensure timely delivery of samples to the laboratory.
• Provide professional, courteous, and patient-friendly service.
• Explain test procedures and fasting requirements to patients when required.
• Collect payments (if applicable) and update status in the system/app.
• Maintain daily collection reports and attendance records.
• Coordinate with reporting teams to ensure smooth operations
