Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Phlebotomist role located in Bengaluru. The Phlebotomist will perform blood and other specimen collection at patient homes and partner locations, following established safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols. Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying patient identity, explaining procedures, preparing collection equipment, drawing blood, labeling and storing samples accurately, and ensuring timely dispatch to partner laboratories. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, using digital tools to update collection status, and providing a professional, reassuring experience for patients. The Phlebotomist will collaborate with healthcare and operations teams to support efficient diagnostic services and high-quality customer care.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Blood Collection skills, including venipuncture, capillary collection, and safe specimen handling.
• Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills such as sample labeling, storage, and adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
• Candidates should possess Medical Assisting capabilities, including patient preparation, basic vital checks, and documentation support.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and fundamental Medicine concepts relevant to diagnostic testing.
• Relevant certification or diploma in Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Technology, or a related allied health field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to infection control and privacy regulations.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, use mobile or digital applications for reporting, and travel within Bengaluru for home collections.
• Prior experience as a Phlebotomist or in diagnostic services is an advantage.
