Job summary

Prudential Health India is building a new health insurance venture in India and seeks a Senior Analyst in Group Operations. You will help design customer and distributor journeys, support testing, and collaborate across Product, Technology, Underwriting, and Claims to deliver seamless onboarding and ongoing processes.

The role requires a strong Insurance Operations background and experience with agile teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Mumbai location, on-site work expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute is required.
• Strong foundation in Insurance Operations and technology solutions.
• Experience in agile environments and cross-functional delivery.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive value.

Responsibilities

• Participate in designing customer and distributor lifecycle journeys and test related business applications as User.
• Collaborate with technology partners, review test docs, and lead or support UAT activities.
• Execute business transactions during initial launch and ensure smooth onboarding.
• Work with technology to deliver scalable tools and processes beyond customer onboarding.
• Create procedures and docs to support project transitions to BAU.
• Serve as a bridge between Product, Tech, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Compliance.

Senior Analyst_Group Operations

As a Lead, your typical week might include the following

• Participate in designing of customer and distributor lifecycle journey and use this as basis to test relevant business applications as User
• Work with technology testing partners, review test documentation and execute, support or lead (where required) user acceptance testing activities, including validating business requirements have been met and quality products are delivered.
• As part of the initial launch team, be prepared to execute business transactions as and when required
• Work in close collaboration with technology organization in designing and delivering such tools/ solutions that would exceed customer onboarding expectations
• Develop processes, procedures, and documentation to support the successful transition of projects in business-as-usual mode
• Become bridge between various business functions – Product, Technology, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Compliance to deliver Customer and Distributor Promise
• Own technology applications and ensure both business requirements and unit test are executed with efficacy
• Conceptualize and incorporate exception management process so that Service Delivery failures are identified and remediated before impacting Customer or the Distributor
• Work with agile and lean mindset by relying on technology for transaction management and focus on Customer and Distributor Value Preposition
• Implement process controls to avoid any kind of regulatory, reputational or financial breaches

• Have 7-8 years of total experience with at least 3+ years domain experience in any of these sectors: health, life, general insurance. Additional experience in insurance core systems, insure tech, health tech, Certification in Business Analysis/System Analysis would be an advantage.
• Extensive experience in business change and implementation initiatives; including business case development, process reengineering / business process improvement, requirements gathering and management, and undertaking cost benefit analysis.
• Extensive experience in testing activities including planning, script writing and execution
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (oral, written and presentation) and the ability to converse with both Business and IT stakeholders.
