Job summary

myMD Healthcare Pvt Ltd in India seeks an experienced Assistant Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations and ensure efficient customer service.

You will dispense medicines, read prescriptions, assist customers, manage stock, handle billing and POS, and coordinate with the Pharmacist for smooth operations. Immediate joiners preferred; freshers not eligible.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• Freshers are not eligible for this post.
• Good knowledge of medicines and prescription reading.
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines as per prescriptions and read medicine names clearly.
• Assist customers with queries and provide product information.
• Maintain stock, check batches, expiry dates and inventory levels.
• Support billing and POS operations and ensure tidy working area.
• Follow SOPs, safety guidelines and coordinate with the pharmacist.

We\'re Hiring - Assistant Pharmacist

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Assistant Pharmacist to support daily pharmacy operations and ensure efficient customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions.


• Read and understand prescriptions and medicine names.


• Assist customers with medicine and healthcare product queries.


• Maintain proper stock arrangement and inventory.


• Check medicine batches, expiry dates, and stock levels.


• Assist with billing and POS operations.


• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of medicines.


• Follow company SOPs, pharmacy procedures, and safety guidelines.


• Coordinate with the Pharmacist/Store In-Charge for smooth pharmacy operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10th Pass.


• 1–2 years of relevant pharmacy experience required.


• Good knowledge of medicines and prescription reading.


• Good communication and customer-handling skills.


• Ability to work in a retail pharmacy environment.


• Immediate joiners preferred.
