Job summary

Accenture seeks an experienced professional for Pharmacovigilance Services to lead end-to-end proposal development for R&D Operations. You will translate client needs into scientifically sound PV and drug safety solutions, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with sales, SMEs, and leadership to win bids.

The role focuses on strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and high-quality proposal content across Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and PV domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy or Life Sciences Master degree.
• Strong domain knowledge in Pharmacovigilance/Drug Safety.
• Experience in RFPs, proposals or SQL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of proposal development from RFP intake to submission.
• Translate client requirements into scientifically accurate service solutions.
• Develop and maintain proposal templates and content libraries for R&D Operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling narrative for proposals.
• Ensure proposals comply with governance frameworks and quality standards.
• Engage stakeholders across Business Development, R&D Operations Leads, and Leadership.
• Mentor junior proposal team members and support knowledge management.
• Position integrated PV and Clinical Operations solutions across services.
• Handle analyst inquiries and anchor RFX interactions.

What would you do?

• The Associate Manager or Senior Analyst, Strategic Business Development & Solutions Enablement R&D Operations is a key strategic contributor responsible for leading the end-to-end development of competitive, technically accurate, and commercially compelling proposals for R&D services.
• The Manager works closely with Sales, Operations and Solution Architect to ensure proposals are delivered on time. The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, proactively engage internal subject matter experts (SMEs), and drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the business development & solutions enablement function.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, multiservice proposals in a competitive outsourcing environment.
• Demonstrate understanding of R&D Value Chain: Clinical Trials, Data Management, Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory submissions.
• Familiarity with R&D databases and technology solutions.
• Proficiency in proposal management tools and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of proposal development: from RFP intake, strategy definition, and writing through review, approval, and submission.
• Translate client requirements into tailored, scientifically accurate service solutions.
• Develop and maintain proposal templates, content libraries, etc. for R&D Operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling narrative for proposals.
• Ensure proposals comply with internal governance frameworks, quality standards, and applicable guidelines.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of operations for client presentation, proactive business development and new capability development support.
• Deep understanding of interplay between Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, and PV to position integrated service solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for proposal-related interactions within Accenture R&D Operations.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with internal stakeholders: Business Development, R&D Operations Leads, and Executive leadership.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent proposals while ensuring stakeholder expectations are proactively communicated and managed.
• Lead or contribute to departmental initiatives for proposal automation, content management system enhancements, and knowledge management.
• Mentor junior proposal team members (Associates or Analysts), providing guidance on writing quality, content accuracy, and stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to competitive intelligence & strategy frameworks for business growth.
