Job summary

Accenture in Chennai is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Services Associate to handle case processing, data entry and MedDRA coding in line with global regulatory guidelines. The role involves routine tasks with guidance from supervisors and collaboration within the team.

Ideal candidates will have a pharmacy degree with 1–3 years in pharmacovigilance, exposure to case management, and the ability to work in shifts as required by client operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy required.
• 1–3 years of pharmacovigilance experience.
• Familiarity with MedDRA coding and case processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage case identification, data entry and coding in the safety database per client guidelines.
• Process submissions and follow-ups for Serious and Non-Serious cases under regulatory requirements.
• Manage affiliate mailbox and perform routine reconciliations and report follow-ups.
