Job summary

Clicks Group Limited in India is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant to deliver pharmaceutical care and perform day-to-day dispensary administration in line with SOPs.

You will ensure high customer service, manage stock, provide health advice, and support merchandising while adhering to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths is essential.
• Minimum requirements of HPCSA for Pharmacist Assistant levels are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care and day-to-day dispensary administration according to SOPs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and care.
• Efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine.
• Provide general health advice.
• Maintain housekeeping and merchandise display standards.
• Handle ad hoc operational requirements.

HPCSA requirements for Pharmacist Assistant

Job description

Responsible for providing pharmaceutical care services (within scope of practice) and performing day-to-day dispensary administration according to company's Standard Operating Plans (SOPs).

Job Objectives:

• High standards of customer service and care
• Efficient stock control and administration, including repacking of medicine
• Efficient dispensary administration
• Provision of general health advice
• High standards of housekeeping and merchandise display
• Ad hoc requirements as per operational requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Maths (Essential)
• Minimum requirements of the Health Professions Council of South Africa for the various levels as a Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified, Post Basic and Learner Basic)
