Job description

A. Prescription & Dispensing

• Receive and verify prescriptions/orders before dispensing medicines.
• Dispense the correct medicine, strength, dosage, and quantity.
• Check prescriptions for possible errors, duplication, or obvious contraindications and **escalate** concerns to the doctor when required.
• Explain dosage, timing, storage, and basic precautions to patients.
• Ensure medicines are properly labelled.

B. Inventory Management

• Maintain adequate stock of medicines and consumables.
• Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and stock levels.
• Follow FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles.
• Prepare purchase/reorder requirements in advance.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification.
• Identify and report damaged, expired, or slow-moving medicines
